Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools

Imagine engaging your community in designing the first elementary school built in your community in over 25 years…

Client Vision

The first project we completed for this district was their Pre-K renovation. They advertised for architectural services but knew that their schedule was very tight.

Challenges that were Overcome

As we studied the project, we realized that if the district completed the project in a design-build fashion, we could cut two months out of their schedule. We proposed this process through our construction arm and the district took decisive action declaring urgent necessity to move this way. The project was completed successfully on time and on budget.

We assisted the district with the conversion of one of their facilities into a Pre-K facility and the replacement and new construction for Lincoln Elementary School. We completed community-wide stakeholder engagement for the new elementary school that included every student in the existing school, all the staff members from the existing school, and any and all community members who wanted to participate. We also assisted them with a successful bond/levy campaign for the school. We are the district’s Architect of Record assisting them with ongoing capital improvement projects.

We selected TRIAD because we felt like we would get innovative designs. All of the other architects we had talked to offered out-of-the-box, cookie-cutter designs. We wanted something special for our district. TRIAD also offered unique solutions to save us time and money.
