PROJECT ARCHITECT

Our ideal Project Architect is passionate about architecture, design, and fostering client relationships while delivering quality projects on time and on budget. As a Project Architect at TRIAD, you will need to be organized and adaptable as you take on a variety of projects that may be working independently or on a larger project team. With a focus on the TRIAD proven process, the Project Architect plays a critical role in bringing the client’s vision to reality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities and duties for the Project Architect include, but are not limited to, the following items:

  • Execution of projects through the SD-CA phases and to guide/mentor associates on the team on documentation, coordination, and design process.

  • To collaborate with the project manager and associates to lead the development of the contract document set and project manual that reflects the design of the project.

  • To lead design development user meetings with the client to verify the requirements of the project are included in the documents/specifications per the client’s needs.

  • To lead and manage the code review process and life safety documentation for the project and ensure approvals during the AHJ process.

  • To collaborate with the consultants and contractors (construction managers, contractors, developers, etc.) on estimates, pricing exercises, options for pricing.

  • To lead the construction administration process with associates.

  • Understanding of the flow of a project and when and how often to have meetings with clients, internal associates, and our consultants.

  • Understanding of building construction methods, structural and MEPT systems, and materials used in building design and construction.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited program.

  • Proficiency in REVIT and AUTOCAD.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.

  • Understanding of building codes, zoning, and planning regulations.

  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

  • Leads by example, excellent motivator, optimistic and inspires others.

  • Excellent communicator both verbally and written and engaged active listener.

Desired:

  • 5-7 years of professional experience in architecture.

  • Registered architect.
